Once or twice a month, I get together with a few painting friends and we go out to paint 'on location'. These little paintings are very quick, and usually take under 4 hours to complete. They are a great exercise in mental tuning, as there is no messing around, or laborious weeks of work. Just quick impressions of what we see.
